About Me
I am Lauren Elizabeth Bek, Special Events Director at Endicott College, where I lead the planning and execution of high-profile, signature events that shape the College’s institutional presence. Working directly with the College President and in close collaboration with the Communications and Marketing team, I oversee events ranging from large-scale commencements with over 10,000 attendees to intimate Trustee dinners and Presidential Speaker engagements with distinguished guests such as Chris Christie, Marty Walsh, Sean Astin, Rick Steves, Joan Lunden, Chesley (Sully) Sullenberger, and Kenneth Cole.
My expertise spans every aspect of event management: designing sophisticated spaces, overseeing banquet and service teams, managing budgets from $10,000 to over half a million dollars, and creating comprehensive run-of-show documents, presidential briefings, and security protocols. I lead teams with precision and intention, ensuring that every detail—no matter how small—contributes to an elevated and seamless experience.
At the heart of my approach is a philosophy that guides all I do:
“Exceptional events aren’t defined by grandeur, but by the intention behind every detail. I believe every moment should feel thoughtfully crafted, purpose-driven, and deeply felt.”
— Lauren Elizabeth Bek
This belief informs both my creative vision and operational execution. From campaign launches and trustee summits to commencements and speaker series, I combine strategic planning with design-forward thinking to create meaningful, memorable experiences. My work is defined by an unwavering commitment to excellence, an eye for detail, and a passion for orchestrating events that leave a lasting impact on attendees, clients, and communities alike.
